The World of Paranoia

Mainstreet has considerable experience with the world of the paranoid.

Our New England/Upstate New York ancestors from early colonial days were abolitionists and suffragettes. They attended conferences in London aimed toward abolition and of those conferences came the suffragette movement. They fought, of course, in the Civil War and were on the Underground Railroad: father’s ancestors in Upstate New York; mother’s at the other end, the site of Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

Father attended law school in early 20th Century, with negroid persons. This was the U.S.A. , never slave or segregated majority of our states.

We personally felt the retribution of the Negroid against us for our mistreatment of them when a judge (female, negro) in a traffic court in D.C. elected to save our innocent case for the last, costing us a prime day in life - because she could. When proven innocent in New York City, we received a personal apology from Major Koch. When proven innocent in the District of Columbia we did not even get a mild “sorry”. We deserved it. (This was discrimination never encountered in a decade in Africa.)

Now Senator Obama’s once pastor has been repeatedly exposed as quite irrationally paranoid, anti white America.

Persons who imagine themselves the only slaves, out of Africa (not knowing the world history is one of slavery), are not the exclusive paranoid menaces to our country, the world.

For reasons only intelligible to our politicians, Israel is perceived as a land of victims although they have occupied the lands of others. Our politicians cannot even speak with those naughty Palestinians who would like their country back. Every word of Israel is sacred, even if total prevarication.

In today’s bizarre election battles, although many acknowledge the ever glowing numbers of Independents, few have the courage to mention that many went independent when the GOP and Congress declared themselves Israeli.

Then we have the traditionally paranoid Arabs. Nineteen Arabians fell upon us on 9/11, well programmed Manchurian candidates, and we retaliated by falling upon Afghanistan because- well, one must guess we were too wimpy to hit Saudi-known for its cowards. Thus we must hit the country which had given refuge to the nominated culprit. We elected to demonize the Taliban, partly because they had offered bin Laden on a platter and we had rejected their offer because women of influence in the White House at the time did not wish to have anything to do with other cultures which did not want female rule. No, no; they must change their ways before we can deal with them. Thousands of years of traditional culture must give way to a 20th century non-Christian women’s movement.

Every day we elevate militant Islam to a new level of adoration by our verbal abuse of them. Everyone is proud to be of such an awesomely feared society.

Could we not get any detached, objective, informed and wise persons to lead here?
